Cogun was formed in 1970 by James R. Couchenour in response to a need for an organization committed to assisting churches with the challenges and opportunities of expansion. Cogun partners with independent architectural firms to design and build church facilities that accommodate dreams and desires, as well as budgets. In the past 37 years, Cogun has successfully designed and built over 650 projects in 33 states.
Cogun's Corporate Headquarters is located in North Lima, Ohio and maintains District offices in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida.
